This wine has aromas that show ripe black fruits, black pepper spice and floral notes. The mouth feel is full, yet soft and supple. Black raspberry and currant flavours mingle with notes of sweet spice and a touch of leather.

Expressing deep, rich dark berry fruit notes that are hallmarks of the variety, complemented nicely by slight herbal characteristics. Firm tannins and oak aging merge to add complex layers of vanilla, clove and black pepper to the wine.

Alamos delivers a nicely balanced and attractive Chardonnay with plenty of roasted nuts, pineapple and citrus atop toasted spice and hints of caramel. It has a creamy texture and a lively finish making it perfect for roasted chicken, almond-crusted halibut, corn chowder or pasta with cream sauce.
